PRSVR gym started as V.G.S.T. (Vegas Getting Stronger Together) in 2017. We started a free boot camp at the all-American football fields, focused and geared towards three things. 1. Provide a safe space for people to come as they work on improving themselves physically and mentally. 2. Building a community and strong support system for everyone who joined because we genuinely believe we are #strongertoghether. 3. To use our platform to unite as a team and always give back to our community. In 2019, we joined our personal training business P.O.Y.O. (persevere over your obstacles) with V.G.S.T. and became PRSVR, representing Persevere disemboweled. Persevere is a powerful word regardless of the journey, whether it's in fitness, business, career, etc., because to succeed in anything, we have to build perseverance.
Even though our name might've changed, those three goals did not. They only grew to not only wanting to have the most fun, safest, and cleanest environment but also the most encouraging, giving, and supportive community in Las Vegas, but our biggest goal is to help people build a healthy lifestyle by educating our members and to provide an experience like no other gym does.
Our mission as a team is to help educate and elevate you on the habits that will help you take control of your health. We are here to enhance our members' lifestyle, by providing them a second home and family to come to. This mission is quite simple, not be just a gym but create a ”One of Kind Fitness Culture”. Focusing on daily improvement, as we get to discover our potential by pushing our limits to new altitudes. Now, if you promise to meet us halfway, we will help you reach your goals. Period.
What up, guys. My name is Guillermo Rivera, but most people call me Coach G or (poyo, my childhood nickname )I am the CEO and founder of PRSVR gym, and my goal with this brand and gym is to build and provide a safe space and environment where we can all come together and push ourselves to grow, both physically and mentally. PRSVR stands for Persevere, and I chose this as our name because, as we all know, regardless of the journey, our success will be determined by your willingness to PRSVR. I was blessed to be active from a very young age; my mom had me in sports my entire childhood, ranging from soccer, swimming, tennis, table tennis, bowling, badminton, and volleyball. As I got older, I gravitated most toward soccer and eventually fell in love with wrestling, jiujitsu, and Muaythai. But in 2013, I was in a car accident that left me with a herniated disc in my L5-S1 that, for a year, left me unable to live my life without pain. I went from being active and athletic to barely being able to get out of a chair without help. Between that and becoming dependent on painkillers, I was in a horrible spot mentally. it was till one day when I looked at myself in the mirror and said, "Dude, this isn't it; there is way more in life than just living like this." at that moment, I decided to hire a personal trainer. That trainer did more than help me re-strengthen my back; it helped me rebuild my self-confidence and self-esteem. This is where my passion for fitness came in. I know what it's like to be on the other side, and all I wish to do is help and guide others to build a healthier and more confident version of themselves. I truly believe we are #strongertogether I am NASM Certified CPT, FNS, PES, and PFPS.My favorite movies are Anker Man, Talladega Nights, and Step Brothers, but really anything that is Comedy. My favorite food is hands down, sushi and doughnuts.
I am Exequiel Pascual, I go by Ex! I am a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and Certified Sports Nutrition Coach (CSNC). I am originally from the Philippines and moved to the U.S. when I was 15 years old. Fitness has become a part of my life since High School. I started playing volleyball, wrestling, football and mixed martial arts. I joined the US Army in 2016 and am currently still serving. Over the years, fitness has played a huge role in my life by gaining confidence, growing as a person, and eventually saving my own life. Personal Training/Coaching became my purpose because I wanted to help people through fitness. I wanted to show how strong and capable everyone can be if they only try. I love coaching because it gives me the opportunity to make a positive impact on people’s lives. Seeing my clients achieve their fitness goals and witnessing their physical and mental transformation brings me immense joy and fulfillment. The ability to inspire and motivate others to push beyond their limits and discover their true potential while working with them l is rewarding. I do believe fitness is an essential part of life. I have seen countless lives, including myself, transformed and changed because they prioritize themselves. On top of that, my favorite foods are Peanut Butter, Cream Cheese, Sour Cream, and a rare cooked Steak seasoned with salt, pepper, rosemary, garlic and onion. I enjoy being outdoors like camping, hiking, biking and anything that involves traveling.
